Approached by long-term collaborators ISO Design to create an immersive score for a 360° film commissioned as part of the Book of Kells Experience at Trinity College Dublin, one of Ireland's most significant cultural institutions.
The film takes the viewer on a journey tracing the route of the Book of Kells, from its origins in Iona, Scotland, across to Ireland, exploring the spiritual power and intricate magic of its illuminated imagery.
The score moves through that same journey: deep, evocative soundscapes giving way to moments of transcendence, the music tracking both the physical passage and the devotional weight of the manuscript itself. Spatial audio and layered textural composition were central to the approach. Sound designed to envelop rather than accompany.
